Wizz Air intends to resume most flights in 2020 and continue to receive new planes, low cost's Head Jozef Varadi said in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to the top manager, by the end of the year, the airline will return to flights 80% of its aircrafts and has the resources to launch new flights.
Wizz Air does not intend to refuse receiving 15 new Airbus planes in 2020 and other airliners in the up coming years. New aircraft should help the airline occupy a niche that will emerge after exiting weaker competitors.
Varadi said that Wizz Air's liquidity would allow the airline to survive 1.5 years without flights.
